Animals seem to be my new favorite things to paint. Check out the pug! This particular pug's name is Lulu! Isn't that the cutest pug name ever? They are a darn cute family.

Ok so...not that anyone sees my Etsy shop but I am working on getting it stocked up and then drawing some attention in that direction. My little princess is off playing with a friend and Mason has been asleep...although I do hear him stirring now. So, I finally got a custom listing going on in my shop during my spare time. Take a look! There will be more to come...I promise I won't post them all on the blog.

This particular family is off to enjoy the company of my cute little niece who loves Minnie Mouse.

I promise my next post will be about something different...or maybe we are ready to hear more from Mandy!

Hello! This is Sally posting in!

OK, OK, so Christmas is still 4 months away but don't you think you could start thinking about Christmas? I usually really get to Christmas shopping around Thanksgiving at the earliest. This year I am going to do things differently. With the economy as it is we can't afford taking a huge hit just at Christmas time. If I start now and buy a gift here and there then maybe it won't seem so expensive. I guess the trick is planning and finding the good deals. That's really hard to do when you are doing everything last minute. So, as I find good deals I'll post them here. In the meantime I better get serious about my etsy shop for some extra spending money. So, if you go to my shop you'll find these guys happily waiting to join you this Christmas!

Custom Families!

Hi this is Sally! So I am going to start listing custom painted dolls in my shop soon. If you are interested in having a little wooden family of your own before they show up in the shop please contact me! I would love to do it. It is so much fun to learn about different families in this way. Plus no family is the same so it really doesn't get boring at all. Once your order is placed I will have it shipped to you within 2-3 weeks as long as payment is cleared.

This family is a special family that recently adopted a little angel from India. Aren't they cute?

Welcome to Miss Macmurdy's

I have been playing with the idea of opening an etsy shop.  I went as far as to come up with a shop name, make bag tags, design a blog, set up the shop (minus the products), and make a homemade mini light studio.  Now I'm thinking I am more addicted to doing all of the digital stuff than painting the dolls.  

The blog...well is it really necessary? Probably not but I thought it would be a good way to share what I have completed.  I think I will use it as a craft blog as well.  I am trying to rope my sisters into doing the blog with me so it won't be to boring!

In the meantime I am trying to get a few things completed to post in my shop.  Here's a preview!
